This is my personal developer portfolio. I care about your privacy and want to be completely transparent about what happens when you visit this site. The short version: almost nothing.

No Cookies

This website does not use cookies—not for analytics, not for advertising, not for anything. Because there are no cookies, there is no need for a cookie consent banner.

No Personal Data Collection

I do not collect, store, or process any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Your IP address is anonymized before any analytics data is recorded and is never stored in its original form.

Anonymous Analytics

I use Umami, a privacy-focused, open-source analytics tool, to understand how visitors interact with this site. Umami is fully GDPR-compliant by design and collects only the following anonymized metrics:

• Page views (which pages are visited)
• Referrer URLs (how you found the site)
• Browser and operating system type
• Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
• Country of origin (derived from the anonymized IP)

No fingerprinting, no session replay, no user profiles—ever.

No Cross-Site Tracking

Your activity on this website is never linked to your activity on any other website. Analytics data is not sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party. It exists solely so I can see which blog posts resonate and whether my portfolio is working as intended.

Legal Basis (GDPR)

The collection of the anonymized metrics described above is carried out under Legitimate Interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). My legitimate interest is understanding aggregate traffic patterns on my personal portfolio to improve its content and usability. Given that no cookies are set, no PII is stored, and IP addresses are anonymized, this processing poses minimal risk to your rights and freedoms.

Third-Party Services

This site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify may process server-level access logs (including IP addresses) for security and operational purposes under their own Privacy Policy. I do not have access to those logs.

Your Rights

Because no personal data is stored, there is effectively nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, feel free to reach out.
